About Zachary Haigney

With experience in both residential and commercial real estate, Zach has developed a unique skill set that serves his clients well.  Zach has successfully represented residential clients at the highest level in Manhattan and Brooklyn.  Prior to joining Compass, Zach was a member of a Manhattan bases team that was consistently in the top 1% of brokers.  During that time, he established himself as a key figure in bringing new developments to market.

Having grown up in a family of developers, Zach began his career focusing on commercial retail leasing and ground-up development of mixed-use lifestyle centers in Florida.  Upon relocating to New York, he managed a substantial portfolio of shopping centers in the Tri-State Area.  This experience has proved useful in advising his residential clients, particularly in new developments with ground level retail components.

Zach puts his clients’ best interests first when orchestrating and negotiating all deals.  Because of his educational background in investment management, he is particularly focused on projects that benefit his clients’ long-term growth and needs.  

Born and raised in Boston, Zach has also lived in Connecticut, Florida, and Los Angeles.  He currently resides in the West Village.
